Our Story
Built by Friends,
For Friends.
For over ten years, co-founder Greg had been obsessed with tiny homes on wheels — not because he needed one, but because he loved the idea of building something unique, mobile, and purposeful. He'd tackled plenty of ambitious projects: a 40×48 post-and-beam barn, finished basements, maple workbenches, even a full home flip. But a tiny house? The "why" was never quite there.
"Man, that is COOL!" — Greg's reaction to a mobile pub video his wife sent him in Fall 2025. He forwarded it to a few friends with one message: "We should build this."
A few weeks of research later, Greg and his good friend Tom looked at each other and said, "Let's do it." No more waiting. Just two guys with tools, too much enthusiasm, and a shared vision of creating something people would never forget.
What started as sketches and late-night brainstorming turned into months of hands-on work — drawing from decades of craftsmanship. This wasn't just about building a trailer. It was about creating an experience. A conversation starter. A mobile gathering place that brings people together.
A lifelong builder and tiny-home enthusiast who finally found the perfect project. When not working on the Swig Rig, you'll find him at Maryland lacrosse tailgates or dreaming up the next ambitious build.
The voice of reason who said 'yes' when most would say 'are you crazy?' Equal parts problem-solver and loyal friend — the kind of guy who'll show up with tools in one hand and a spreadsheet in the other. When he's not on the Swig Rig build, you'll find him at Maryland lacrosse tailgates or helping someone make sense of their taxes.
"Swig Rig Life is what happens when craftsmanship meets community. Every rental is a chance to share what we created with our own hands — a piece of our story becoming part of yours."
